Diane has spent much of her life sitting on organ and piano benches, preparing for worship services. Her desire has always been to honor God through music and to assist others in performances that enhance the congregation’s worship experiences.
At age 12 she began playing organ in her home church in Maine, subsequently earning a master’s degree in organ performance. Diane has served as organist and assistant to music directors in cities across the country. She thinks deeply about the purposes and practices of music in worship and finds great joy in making music with folks at Ascension.
Susan is a leader of creative teams, marketing campaigns, and provides technical and conceptual development of the church’s mission. Susan & her husband have 3 biological children and are licensed foster parents. They have recently relocated to Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.
Lauren joined the staff of Ascension in the spring of 2022 and is very happy to be here. She also serves as the bookkeeper for several other local churches of different denominations and loves bringing her finance skills to use for these communities.
Kim is the welcoming face serving as the administrative assistant in the office. She works on liturgy support, communication throughout the office, maintaining the church calendar, helping with events, and producing Ascension publications. When not in the Ascension office, Kim is often found as a volunteer at her children's school. Kim lives with her husband, three boys, and their dog in Magnolia, though is often found in the mountains of Roslyn, WA where they love to hike, bike, ski and enjoy time outdoors. She encourages everyone to stop by the office to say hello!
